Manganocalcite
All of the following Manganocalcites are from the Pachapaqui District, Bolognesi Prov., Ancash Dept., Peru and all of the crystals exhibit the scalenohedral form that is common to these Manganocalcites. All of the crystals are in very good shape or as otherwise noted. The color of the crystals varies with the type of light they are in. Under normal light, the specimens have a light pink color, representative of this type of manganocalcite. Brighter light tends to make the crystals more white. Under SW UV light, the crystals fluoresce a bright orange color.
