TETRAHEDRITE and CALCITE     Quiruvilca Mine, La Libertad Dept., Peru

A large, steel gray Tetrahedrite crystal measuring 1.5 x 1.25x 0.5" is placed in the center bottom of this 2.75 x 2 x 1.75" specimen. The larger crystal is intact with small, disc shaped, off white crystals of Calcite placed on the bottom section of the crystal. Some damage to the periphery of the specimen.

Numerous, sky blue acicular crystals of Aurichalcite cover most of the front face of this 2.5 x 1 x 1" specimen.

RHODOCHROSITES

All of the following specimens are Rhodochrosites from Yan So, Guangxi Prov., China. All of these thumbnail size specimens are from a recent find. The Rhodochrosites range from light pink to medium, deep pink and all have Quartz associations. The Rhodochrosites are small, disc shaped crystals, some individually placed but mostly in groups. The Rhodochrosites are in very good shape.
