A single cube of Galena is nicely orientated on a dark grey chert matrix with various sized, deep red Sphalerites located on both sides of the Galena. The crystal is intact and in great condition, with a very architectural nature to the crystal. What is interesting about this specimen is that the extreme left corner of the top of the specimen is totally flat. Also the front side of the crystal, which is partially seen in the image, is also totally flat. Thus one small corner of the top and one whole side of the crystal is flat and smooth while the remaining top and 3 sides are architectural.
